大須大道町人祭実施概要
開催日 2011年10月14日（前夜祭）、15日（土），16日（日）
場所 大須商店街一帯
概要 官製のまつり「名古屋まつり」に対抗しようと、失われていく下町情緒と
江戸の昔から庶民に継承された大道芸再現を求め昭和53年（1978）に始まった庶民の
祭り「大須大道町人祭」は、多くの市民にささえられ今年で第34回を迎えることにな
りました。お祭りの内容をさらに充実させ、大須を舞台に動きのある「大道芸」
（45組250名）、町を練り歩く祭の華「おいらん道中」を中心に、
昔懐かしい「風物屋台」が下町大須に並び、大勢の人々で賑わう祭りとして、毎年
10月日本一伝統ある大道芸人の集う全国的にも有名な祭りとなっている。
Our"People's Osu Street Performers' Festival"started in 1978 as an
alternative counter-attraction for the red-taped event of "Nagoya Festival"
is going to mark its 34th anniversary this year， thanks to the support of
a great many Nagoyans !
Now that we've got this event more full-fledged， lively"Street Performers"
and "Old-timey Showy High Class Prostitutes Kabuki Paraders"walking by the
shopping malls (called"Oiran Douchu") played by the female volunteers selected
from among auditionees at large， have made this town of "Osu"better known
throughout Japan as a festival to share with fun-loving visitors here，
all featured downtown Osu.
